Chilly Blade is a Cooling Device for Hair Clipper Blades

Chilly Blade is dedicated to solving problems for hairstylists, barbers, pet groomers, and veterinarians.

After twelve years of research and development, Chilly Blade was perfected.

In 2012 a former barber/hairstylist, who is mechanically inclined with a love for animals, became a pet groomer and found the solution to the most common problem in both industries, “Hot Blades”.

After succeeding designs, tests, and the combination of multiple elements, Chilly Blade found its final configuration and created one of its ultimate forms. The purpose is to maintain a clean environment while maintaining the clipper blades at their highest performance, at a lower temperature, and without damage to the blade.

The novelty of this device lies in its innovative design that combines a natural heat absorption - dissipation mechanism and forced air. Chilly Blade is the first of its kind in a portable format with the professionals in mind for constant use.
The Device is proudly designed and manufactured in the United States of America with barbers, hairstylists, pet groomers, and veterinarians in mind. Due to this design mechanism, blades will never become dull or damaged during the cooling process.
The device is environmentally safe and cost-effective compared with other methods of cooling products.
With the CHILLY BLADE device, your clipper blades will last longer, guaranteed.

Why Marble Stone

Marble conducts heat differently compared to other surfaces and materials. Heat dissipates quickly in marble. Marble is very thick and compressed, making it easy for heat to escape the marble quickly.

Marble has a classic elegance, but it has other benefits, such as heat absorption and dissipation.

Marble is a heat conductor. The reason marble feels cold is that it conducts heat differently compared to other surfaces. Marble is a very dense, hard stone, and this makes it easier for heat to transfer from a warmer object, such as clipper blades. The heat will then dissipate through the marble quickly, so the marble doesn't feel any warmer.

DISCLAIMER: "MARBLE AS NATURAL STONE IS A PRODUCT OF NATURE AND IS THEREFORE SUBJECT TO ALL ITS INHERENT VARIATIONS. CAST VEINING, MARKINGS AND COLORATION OF THE FINAL PRODUCT STONE MAY VARY. THE SLABS ARRIVE TO OUR LOCATION WITH THE FACE ALREADY FINISHED AND NATURAL STONE MAY HAVE SMALL PITS OR MARKS OR IRREGULARITIES IN TEXTURE OR SHINE THEREFORE IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT NONE OF THE DEVICES WILL HAVE AN IDENTICAL STONE UNIFORM COLOR."

Marble's density, coupled with its ability to conduct heat quickly, means that it takes a lot more energy to feel warm. When you touch something that is cooler than your skin, you are imparting some of your heat, or energy, to that object. Marble continues to transfer and dissipate that heat quickly, so it takes longer for it to warm up. This means that marble will continue to feel cool to the touch, even on a hot summer day.

Marble is a Metamorphic rock that results when limestone has undergone during a special high heat and pressure process. This sedimentary rock(formed due to the flow of mostly calcium carbonate type mud along with water and stayed as several layers and compacted due to the load pressure above the layers and temperatures for several thousand layers).

Marble is comprised predominantly of calcite, which is a mineral, in addition to other minerals like quartz, pyrite, iron oxides, clay minerals, micas and graphite.

Once these minerals have undergone the metamorphosis process, the material becomes crystallized.

This crystallization is what gives marble its swirled, mosaic look, which many people consider very attractive.

There are many types of marble, depending on where it originates.

The color of marble is determined by the minerals that the marble consists of.

For instance, pure white marble is that color due to calcite, limonite produces green or yellow marble, and hematite produces red marble.

Due to the natural complexity it’s color will vary .

The Founder

Chilly Blade was founded, designed, and developed by an entrepreneur named Kadel Batista. With his roots and background in architectural and electromechanical engineering, he was able to develop handcrafted items, while simultaneously finding enjoyment in practicing the hairstylist / barber career for a while. Along with a passion for rescuing animals, he then became a professional pet groomer. Soon after establishing this new career, he developed and handcrafted the first prototype of Chilly Blade. It all happened after realizing a common issue in the hairstylist / barber and pet grooming industry. At that point, he was devoted to solving the common issue in both industries, cooling hot blades effectively while being friendly to the environment.
